6005-2RS 25x47x12mm Sealed Bearing

Description

From alternators, transmissions and gearboxes, to HVAC systems and agricultural equipment, 6005 bearings have an extensively wide use application.

The 2RS suffix means contact seals on both faces. These keep grease in and dirt and moisture out, which is what you want anywhere the bearing is exposed rather than sitting inside a sealed housing. It’s the reason 2RS is the usual choice over a ZZ metal-shielded version outdoors or in dusty conditions. The bearing arrives greased and sealed for life — no packing or servicing needed before fitting.

You may see this bearing listed as 6005 2RS, 6005RS, 6005-RS or 6005 2RS1 depending on the brand. They all describe the same 25x47x12mm rubber-sealed bearing.
